This anthology of short stories twists the concepts of writing a standard honors • thesis. I composed four short stories combining the elements of two of my favorite literary genres: short fiction and children’s literature. I experimented with different points of view, tested various dialogues, and created some curious characters. The plots vary from boys cutting-up and selling dead body parts, to a little girl understanding the true value of a rosary. Writing these stories taught me a lot about the struggles of writing believable, and yet entertaining fiction. Composing this thesis, I learned and I am still learning about the discipline, exertion, and beauty of creative writing.
