Abstract
This paper examines the effects of electroencephalograph (EEG) biofeedback as a treatment for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It starts with a definition of Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and the diagnostic criteria for the disorders. The paper then discusses EEG biofeedback as a treatment of ADHD, how it developed, and examples of successful treatments. Data is presented and discussed from the pretests, middle tests, and posttests ofajuvenile male, as well as a group of children, who received EEG biofeedback treatment for ADHD. Improvements in behavior resulted from the treatment sessions. Results were discussed in relation to the effectiveness of this treatment.
