Abstract

Route 66 through is a pipeline of social and economic gain for many cities across the United States including Flagstaff, Arizona. The development of small businesses along the highway brings significant infrastructure along with social and environmental impacts to the local residents and the tourists traveling near and far. Trapper Peak Engineering has been tasked with the opportunity to develop property along the highway with the intent of implementing a new restaurant to bring social and economical contributions to the city. Trapper Peak completed the preliminary and final design. The design process, including an initial assessment, alternatives analysis, technical analysis and BOQ have been completes and will be presented before entering into a final contract. This presentation with cover the design process, the details behind every decision and impacts of every engineered solution.
