Children’s literature plays a large role in education and there are stories that have been told over and over again for centuries. One specific story to be examined through qualitative research is the fairytale of Cinderella and how it has been transformed from the original literature through its various theatrical adaptations. We have decided to research this topic to better understand how a story changes over time. The movie adaptations that will be examined are Cinderella (1950), Ella Enchanted (2004), and Another Cinderella Story (2008). We will inspect the Brothers Grimm version of Cinderella and examine how the familiar story has been altered.en_US
