A great many historical volumes have been published about Montana. In all there are but a few scant line about the late Senator Thomas James Walsh. This is quite understandable of course because of the fact that Walsh was a contemporary. I have search quite in vain for material, so that it would be possible to cover but a single phase of his life, such as when he practiced privately here in Montana, or even a phase concerning his uncovering of the infamous "Teapot Dome" scandal; but due to the limited material available, I found it quite difficult to get but the briefest outline of his life, as so I have endeavored to give as complete a picture as possible in this brief biographical sketch of his life.
