    Abstract
    A new method for testing the acceptability of metal tooth implants as an alternative to oral cavity implantation is described. Various metals were successfully implanted into the back tissue of Balb/C mice. Aluminum and copper implants were rejected, exhibiting discoloration and thickening of the tissues. Vitallium, titanium, gold alloy, silver, iron and lead were accepted
