    Title
A Study Of The Effects Of Electromagnetism Upon Conjugation In Escherichia coli K12
    Type
    thesis
    Abstract
Two auxotrophic strains of Escherichia coli K12 were allowed to conjugate while exposed to a constant, homogenous magnetic field and in the absence of a magnetic field. Statistical analysis indicated a significant inhibition of bacterial conjugation by the magnetic field, with each exposed culture averaging 26% inhibition.
