The Evaluation Of Direct Fluorescence Antibody Technique On Colonies Of Neisseria gonorrhoeae
    Type
    thesis
    Abstract
Various aspects of the use of direct fluorescent antibody tests for the identification of N. gonorrhoeae were investigated. Different colony types within a strain exhibited fluorescence of about the same intensity, while differences occurred between strains. The best results were shown using the CDC conjugate prepared by the 20-10 minute method using acetone fixation.
