    thesis
    Abstract
The role of agar in modified Thayer-Martin media on lab strains and fresh isolates of Neisseria gonorrhoeae was investigated. With the number of modifications of the Thayer-Martin media, additions of agar to the media may cause inhibitory growth of Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Results show a definite gradient of growth, decreasing from the least agar concentrated medium to the greatest agar concentrated medium.
