Studies On The Isolation Of Campylobacter Fetus Subspecies Jejuni From Environmental Samples
    Type
    thesis
    Abstract
Various methods and samples were investigated for isolation of Campylobacter fetus subspecies jejuni. With the growing concern over intestinal infection due to Campylobacter fetus subspecies jejuni, discovery of its epidemiology has become increasingly important. The most likely source of infection is from ingested liquids, and results showed filtration followed by an inverted filter incubation to be the best method tested for recovery of the organisms.
