    Title
Studies On Mitochondrial Superoxide Dismutase In Prematurely Aging Mice
    Type
    thesis
    Abstract
Liver mitochondrial superoxide dismutase was purified from normally aging BIO and prematurely aging B1O.F mice. The specific activity of the enzyme was found to be lower in the prematurely aging strain. Further purification is necessary to be certain the difference in specific activities shown between the two strains of mice is valid. The congenic BIO and B1O.F strains may prove to be an ideal model for aging research.
