dc.description.abstractPolyploid nuclei from rat liver were isolated after partial hepatectomy. Cytophotometric analysis was performed to measure ploidy content of nuclear suspensions from initial and residual liver lobes. Results indicated no significant shift in ploidy levels between initial and residual liver lobes. Results were inconclusive due to technical difficulties.
