dc.description.abstract | Crepuscular/ day and night time habitat preference of the bobcat (Lynx rufus fasciatus) of western Washington was studied during the winter months from 1978 through 1980. Twenty-seven bobcats were radiotracked and 632 winter locations obtained. Habitat was determined by LANDSAT II Multi-spectral Scanner imagery maps. Regrowth conifer forest and broadleaf forest showed the highest preference during all three time periods. Second growth conifer and mixed forests showed the lowest preference. | |
